The Career Summit is a series of 10 free online career development workshops designed to help you build the skills, confidence, and knowledge you need to navigate your career journey.
Whether you are just beginning to explore your options, preparing for your next opportunity, or looking to strengthen your professional skills, the Career Summit offers practical guidance to help you take your next step with confidence.
The Career Summit includes 10 workshops covering essential career skills and strategies: Personal Branding, Resumes, Cover Letters, Networking, LinkedIn, Interviewing, Professionalism, Transferable Skills, Career Design, and Job Search Self Care.
The 10 workshops are offered across multiple Career Summit dates throughout the year. Each Summit date features a selection of six workshops, with some topics offered on more than one date to give you additional opportunities to participate.
Attend all 10 workshops before you graduate and you'll earn a Career Certificate and recognition on your Western Co-Curricular Record .
The Career Summit is offered four times throughout the year , giving you multiple opportunities to participate and build your career skills at a time that works for you.

This virtual workshop is designed to support students who are preparing for their transition into the workforce, preparing for further education or are undecided at the moment. Attending this interactive workshop will introduce you to a practical career decision model and will highlight a range of options available to you after graduating from your program.
